"Colony" - One Person can make that difference

One of the best movies I've seen since "I Am Legend".
Paid a little extra for "Premier seats",
Ready to immerse myself fully in the story.
What I didn't expect was six adults bringing a toddler to a zombie movie.
While the undead terrorized the screen,
the rest of us spent the start of the film waiting for a toddler to settle in comfortably at everyone else's expense.
Of all the places to bring a toddler,
why a zombie apocalypse?
And if that was in Singapore,
I assumed some rules—written or otherwise—might still apply.
Back to the movie—
It's always that one person
who sends everyone to hell,
and that one angel,
who helps many find their way to heaven.
Yet those with the greatest power
to save mankind,
often arrive disguised as devils.
The irony is that this world,
rarely reveals itself as it truly is.
What appears cursed may be a blessing.
What appears righteous may be the ruin.
How strangely,
and how consistently,
we mistake appearances for truth.
"Will I be a blessing or a curse?"
Awfully depends.
To some,
I may be the storm.
To others,
the shelter from it.
The same fire that warms one soul may burn another.
Perhaps none of us are purely blessings or purely curses.
We are simply remembered by what we leave behind.

We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.
