Rebuilding from a setback is no small feat. It's not only exhausting but also presents a chance for personal reflection and growth. I have plenty of books to read so that I don't fall so far behind the crowd.

Anyway, I discovered that hope involves more than simply wishing for a better future; it requires taking actionable steps towards it. This shift in perspective allowed me to focus less on lost opportunities and more on what I could build moving forward. But waking up every day at 7 am takes some discipline. Did you notice all the faces around you? They seemed to all carry some kind of their own burden. Obviously, who doesn't?

Riding the ship with strangers intrigued me. I watched them read their notes with the same type of determination as I. Driven by a 'better future', it's difficult to build a relationship when everyone wants a bite from that same pie. Some people just had to spit on the pie that the baker made at no cost for us. It's sad to note that they came with an agenda at the expense of other people's generosity. Will the baker continue to bake for us now that he feels insulted?

Please let me have a taste of that bright red cherry first. I am willing to pay a price just to eat it. Will I get to be that baker someday?

I am vamping through my words, and I had to since everything was not in place yet.
