"Peace before Judgment."

Hiding behind his mask and shades,
He asked what he could buy
to win his civil case.
After a light chat,
I told him:
buy nothing.
Prepare your mind for truth,
your heart for peace,
your soul for surrender.
Because even if the verdict
does not favor you,
life still may.
He shook my hand
and thanked me genuinely—
as if clarity itself
had just been handed to him.
I smiled with assurance,
grateful I could still be useful
before this path closed itself entirely on me.

A helping hand can be the light in a world full of darkness.
